Abstract

Angel investing constitutes an alternative asset in the portfolios of many high net worth individuals. Although angel networks are relatively uncommon, the Baylor Angel Network provides a unique value proposition to not only Baylor University, the students and faculty, but also the entrepreneurs looking for funding. This thesis follows the work of two Senior Analysts within the Baylor Angel Network, and their coverage of entrepreneur pitches for funding, as well as review of portfolio companies for investor screening.
