This thesis explores the stage of liberalism that America has reached and engages with the emptiness of continual freedom-seeking that comes at the expense of living a full life in community with God and others. The creative aspect of the piece follows a girl named Lydia through her first semester of college where she becomes involved in an activist movement while at the same time learning about Jesus. Through Lydia's journey, the reader learns the need to identify and prioritize what is truly important in one's life.en_US
