Hafertepe, Kenneth, 1955-Clark, Emily Ruth.2016-09-082016-09-082016-052016-09-08http://hdl.handle.net/2104/9860In the summer of 2015, I worked as a Graduate Intern at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas, TX. Two days per week, I worked with the School Programming department observing, teaching, and developing community outreach programs. Another two days each week, I worked with the Public Programs department, specifically the Gallery Experience team, who works within the galleries to help with crowd control, answer visitor questions, and interact with guests to help them learn about exhibit content. I was able to assist the Gallery Experience team in writing a staff training guide for the Being Human Hall. Lastly, one day per week, I spent time working with the Volunteer Services department at the Perot, which manages over 1300 active volunteers. Overall, my experience provided insight into the workings of a large and successful science museum.EnglishBaylor University projects are protected by copyright.
