Method: This study uses multivariate analyses to model the differences between these groups on traditional measures of religious behavior, belonging, belief, and experience of God. Data come from the Faith Matters Survey (2006-2007), a national sample of over 3,100, including 388 Latinos. Results: Despite language and substantial SES differences, Latino and Anglo Catholics exhibit similar religious behaviors, beliefs and attachments to the Roman Catholic Church. Still, Latinos and Anglos differ in their experiences of God and frequency of personal prayer.
