Blogs allow museums to make a deeper connection with readers by giving them space to write longer posts about objects and events, focusing in on museum-specific topics, allowing behind-the-scenes access to collections and programs, and impacting the profession by being a forum for other professionals to read and comment on new practices and ideas.
