My project was to process a donation from 2012 and determine which items should be accessioned into the museum’s collection. When I accessioned objects into the collection, I created a record in PastPerfect, wrote an object description, wrote a condition report, supplied dimensions for the object, photographed the object and housed the object in collections storage. Over the summer I accessioned over 500 objects into the museum’s collection. In addition, I worked on the inventory for a large donation, which allowed me to be a part of each step of processing a donation. I also helped with tours, summer camps, and events as needed. During my time at the Dr Pepper Museum and Free Enterprise Institute, I learned how museums process donations and I became very familiar with PastPerfect.EnglishBaylor University projects are protected by copyright.
