dc.description.abstract	This thesis outlines the process of writing and directing the short film, Stray. It will also examine many of the underlying theoretical and filmic influences that have informed the director’s creative decisions and methodological approach. Personal goals and thematic content is discussed, and a full script analysis is also provided.
