dc.description.abstract | Completing a museum internship is an excellent way for a graduate student to receive hands-on experience in the field and to gain understanding about the realities of museum work while completing a post-graduate degree. In this paper, I relate the experiences I had during my graduate internship at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, TN. The experience was an overwhelmingly positive one which taught me a great deal, but along the way I also learned lessons that I believe will stand me in good stead as I pursue a career in museums. | en_US |
